Yawn! More ‘Critical’ Flaws from Microsoft
Thank goodness Microsoft won’t be rolling out its next generation operating system (Vista) until next year. They still haven’t got it right for Windows 98 Windows XP.
More “critical” security flaws in its Windows operating system and Office software have been reported:
The world’s biggest software maker defines a flaw as “critical” when the vulnerability could allow a damaging Internet worm to replicate without the user doing anything to the machine… and allow attackers to take control of a computer.
I’ve heard this so often that I’ve become desensitized to the words “critical”. Nevertheless it’s still a good idea to download the latest patches at www.microsoft.com/security. What else have you got to do?
