The course helps people 50+ to answer the question What's Next, because few of them will retire in the conventional sense -- for economic and other reasons -- and many have not given this extended period of life much thought. Also because I keep turning up interesting bloggers (like you!) and the writing, when it's good, is very good: courageous, vibrant, as good as you can find anywhere.
