When World’s Collide
I won’t pretend that the past couple of weeks have been easy. In just a short while I have been hospitalized for a painful kidney stone, a minor stroke, and my car was stolen and destroyed by an arsonist.
Amazingly, through it all I have felt a peace and optimism that is beyond my comprehension. I have spent so much time blogging over the past years that recent events have given me a renewed sense of what is really important in life — and that is there is so much more to life than just the virtual world.
But even more amazingly, that old saying when God closes one door He opens another has proven itself true. I’m feeling more optimistic than I have felt in a very long time and I’m looking forward to a new beginning as my life turns yet another corner.
So what does this have to with blogging? It’s all about finding a balance between the real world and the virtual. Through it all I have rediscovered myself, but even more importantly my family, and I’m all the more richer for it. That is what I have learned the most over the past weeks.
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to serve you, my fellow bloggers and virtual friends. Rest assured Blog Bloke shall return even better than ever.
Peace.

They say bad things come in threes. Hopefully that will be all your bad luck for a long while.
I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery, and look forward to your next installment of blogging wisdom.
