What a Pain in the Ass, Buttocks, er Blog

Suffering through bouts of the flu and exhaustion I made the final push to New last night. What a bloody nuisance.

Whilst converting over to (after spending countless hours tweaking my new template) it lost my widgets plus most of my and that I had painstakingly worked on! Thankfully I have backups so I’ve been very busy copying and pasting like the mad that I am.

I’ve wasted a lot time on this nightmare and it’s still not over yet, but they (i.e. ) insist the effort will be worth it. So your patience is appreciated as I continue to muddle through this mess.

P.s.: , check your Gmail because my bill is on the way.

  1. Good luck, I lost all previous comments when I converted–everything suddenly became “anonymous”

And I couldn’t download photos into my posts for quite a while.

    Progress is never smooth evidently.

The worst part of it all was there was no one who would even notice at Blogger. Total silence. I’m starting to get suspicious that the whole set-up is run by a chimp in a garage somewhere rather than by a real live person.

  2. Heh, I couldn’t agree more about the customer service analogy.

Have you noticed they now have the effrontery to send us a canned message stating their excuse for lack of individualized service is because Blogger is a “great free service”?

Then I guess they’re not making as much AdSense money as we all thought they were.
