We will Burn them Alive

News Report: Two Japanese men and one woman are being held hostage by a group which has vowed to kill them if Japanese soldiers do not leave Iraq. Elsewhere, seven South Koreans are being held hostage west of Baghdad by an unknown group, while a British man has been reported missing in the south. US allies pledge to stay in Iraq despite kidnappings in a bid to break up the coalition as the worst fighting since the fall of Baghdad continues.

Yes Bush has stated they will hand over the reigns of power to the Iraqi’s June 30th, BUT don’t you think rhetoric like “we will stay the course” is only fanning the flames? Reading a little between the lines, perhaps Bush’s real message is de-occupation will be a long time coming until he is satisfied US interests are secured?
