W.Bloggar Is Alive and Well
Good news for W.Bloggar users. Marcello has released a minor update for his popular (and my favourite) free blog editor software.
Apparently it will now support New Blogger and UTF-8, but it’s only a partial fix because he still has to update the API to make it work with post titles, categories etc.
As for me I will continue to wait until he has included these important features before I upgrade, but it’s great to see that this extremely useful software is not dead.

Windows Live Writer is far better imho anyway. If you haven’t tried it, I suggest that you do. You will be glad you did, trust me.
There are many plugins available as well, which extend the functionality of the already awesome application.
Oh I’ve tried Live Writer before and I quickly uninstalled it. It’s bloatware. Takes up way too much resources and puts in crap code that I don’t want. W.bloggar on the other hand is not as pretty but is lean and mean. The code is clean and a very small footprint. It’s just the ticket for me.
