Two Peas and an iPod

Is it the end of Netscape?

bizlede09152005 Two Peas and an iPod WELL, forget about the iPod but no doubt Apple is watching closely. God help us all. The two whores, er worst companies on the planet for in-yur-face business tactics may be merging.

AS WE SPEAK Time Warner is in advanced discussions with Microsoft to sell it an equal stake in America Online.

“Talks are most advanced with Microsoft - Time Warner management’s preferred partner - but the media giant has also had discussions with both Yahoo! and Google over a sale or venture with AOL, according to a source close to Time Warner.”

Given that both companies are equally obnoxious and that Microsoft’s mission is to own everything, in the grand scheme of things I suppose it was an inevitablity.

QUESTION:

Should Microsoft change its mission statement from “putting a computer on every desktop”, TO “owning every desktop”?

Just asking.
