Twitter Search Engines: Come Get Yours

Heck, I’m too Busy Twittering to Blog Anymore!

Jeese Louise! I guess I was right after all, that the infatuation with is really due to its simplicity. There’s no need for any writing skills, grammar or punctuation. It’s back to high school again and good ole short-form note making.

This is so easy! No wonder the love it. It’s the perfect medium for writing-challenged bloggers like Instapundit or Doc Searls who rarely write posts longer than two-liners.

Anyhoo, it soon became apparent that is lacking in a search box so I did a little research on and found a few links for you:

So why am I twittering? Well I’m experimenting to see what else it’s good for besides “Good Morning. I just had my morning java and now I’m off to shave. Ouch!…”

One use that I can see for it is broadcasting short messages to everyone who is in the Bloke’s Network. Kinda like a conference call/chatroom. You can even subscribe to the feed and not miss a juicy morsel or just visit the site.

I have a few more ideas so stay tuned… and while you’re at it why not create your own account and add me as a friend (because I’m a friendly kind of bloke).

Oh yeah, one more thing. Am I the only one who finds it odd that hardcore  fanatics who snub for its alleged simplicity are soooo infatuated with ?

Hmm. What do you think?

Twit, twit.

  1. Wow…thanks for all these cool twitter links my dear twitter friend! You’re an excellent researcher. Have you tried Tumblr? I’m using it now too…it’s somewhere between twitter and blogger. Check out my tumblr blog: Circuitry.

  2. I checked it out but it doesn’t seem to have the IM features that Twitter has.
