Do Bad Things Happen in Three’s, or is it Triplets?

They say that bad things happen in three’s, so I guess I’m working on my second set. All three of my computers are down (this one I’m using is just barely working). So I will keep this brief before it crashes on me.

I don’t think it’s a virus… just bad luck I guess. One of the computers shorted out the power supply. This one has an intermittent problem where it just dies for no apparent reason. I’ve taken it apart, cleaned and rebuilt it but the problem persists. And the other ‘puter just sucks period (how’s that for getting technical).

It’s time to start computer shopping but with no car (it was torched, remember) it’s not that convenient to get around these days. I’m also facing an operation in two weeks.

So there you have it. That’s my excuse for posting sparsely these days but this too will pass.

“Almost everything all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart”… Steve Jobs.

I’m using ’s new Docs (formerly called Writely) to make this post. I have ambiguous feelings about it, but more about that later.

The cool thing is I wrote and published this post from within a window in Great News newsreader. Very nice. I like that because I didn’t have to load up another memory sucking app. I’m still searching for the love of my life, er I mean the ultimate RSS/Newsreader/Blog Editor/Posting solution.

Stay tuned… I’ll be back.
