Svend’s Jeweller questions impromptu Theft

Outspoken Canadian MP and Gay Activist ‘Svend Robinson’ is under scrutiny after a jeweller’s recent comments about his excuse for stealing a $50,000 ring.

“A jeweller (Shahraz Kassam) in Mr. Robinson’s Burnaby, B.C., riding said the veteran politician visited his store to examine a $10,300 diamond just 48 hours before he showed up at the infamous auction. Given what he already knew about Mr. Robinson’s intentions and the fact that he had signalled his plan to get married, Mr. Kassam said he was surprised to read the politician’s explanation for his actions at the auction.”

Last week, Mr. Robinson told reporters that he “just snapped” while under immense personal stress and said he couldn’t believe that it had happened. “It made it sound like he was just casually strolling through and just did this without any thought,” said Mr. Kassam.

Hmmm. Can you smell spell - PREMEDITATED?
