Here’s an interesting analogy for you. The site 2000 Bloggers was accused of “gaming” the system, so technorati justified fudging its algorithms to keep its ranking system “consistent”.

Isn’t that kinda like mob boss Bugsy Siegel rigging Vegas slot machines to keep his gambling business viable? I suppose we can try and justify anything if we put our mind to it.
