Six Figure Blogging: Today’s Featured Video

Now here’s something interesting. Steve Pavlina tells us in his video “Six Figure Blogging” to forget putting images on our blogs, and yet he’s using YouTube video to promote his blog.

Fascinating… we’re supposed to be niche (that’s pronounced nish) blogging, but, um, not really.

Oh well, it seems that everybody’s an expert these days. Six figure blogging? Now where have I heard that before? (Don’t be naughty Bloke.)

Ok, so whatever happened to using images as window dressing to attract more readers? So much for a picture being the same as a thousand words.

Here I thought Google loves multimedia, but what do I know. Then again if you’re only writing to make money blah, blah, blah. I’m so confused my head hurts.

Wait a minute! That must be it! Text is the window dressing, and the real purpose of a blog is to place ads and make money. I got it Steve.

Thanks for the great advice and it didn’t even cost me a dime.

Now that’s what I call ‘personal development’!

    6. Exaggerating income to make money off of naive bloggers is one of my biggest gripes. 6 Figure Blogging sounds more like Grand Theft Blogging to me.

    7. Thanks man! I really appreciate the video. I watched it twice. I’ve been videoblogging on my tours since 2006, but never considered that without text the search engines might find it more difficult.
Thanks for that tip. I’m glad i found this site today.
