Shock Wave Lithotripsy Tomorrow: Wish me Luck
Hi ho, hi ho… its off to the hospital I go.
Well here I go again. It’s off to the hospital tomorrow morning for Shock Wave Lithotripsy treatment to pulverize my kidney stone that has been plaguing me over the past ten years.
Hey, it might not be the vacation that I wanted but at least I’m having fun. (I know that sounds crazy but one must keep a sense of humor at times like this don’t you think).
The worst part of it is I have to go under general anesthesia (which I hate), and I really hope he doesn’t rig me up to another stint while I’m under the influence. I think I’d rather meet my maker than go through that again.
Today I can’t eat anything and have to take powerful laxatives. So I’ll give you three guesses where I will be spending most of my day ;-). I know, thanks so much Bloke for sharing that with us.
I’ll be watching more YouTube comedy videos than I normally do (if I can still sit in the chair) and speaking of video, have you tried my new ajax-powered video bar over in the far right menu yet? Let me know what you think.
It’s times like this I wish I had Adam Sandler’s universal clicker so I could just fast forward myself to next week. Wouldn’t that be nice.
One more thing… due to circumstances beyond my control there will be no live blogging during this performance. I apologize for the inconvenience and trust that you will understand.
See you on the other side. Cheers!

Best of luck to you and enjoy the rest! Hope it’s not painful. Teri
Thank you my friends. I’m still alive and kicking!
Darn…I missed all the farting! Nice to know you’re human! I always suspected you weren’t a borg!
Just a quickee. I will be using Twitter for short updates until I can resume normal posting again. I won’t go into details about my experience except to say there has been a lot of bloodletting, pain and not much sleep. I’ve been too exhausted to write but today I’m feeling a little better so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers and Lord willing I will back to blogging again this week.

Get well soon, Bloke!
Good luck and speedy recovery!
Thanks Phil, Sameer and Alex.
