Scoble couldn’t take the Heat

And Got Out of the Kitchen

Robert Scoble is taking a two-week hiatus from and announced that when he returns he’s making big changes in his life. Most notably it seems that he’s now going to moderate comments on his blog.

Apparently what precipitated that decision was his recent meltdown over comments that Windows Vista was delayed because 60 percent of the needed to be rewritten.

So let me get this straight. Microsoft’s uberpropoganda a-list blogger is now going to delete comments that he disagrees with. Do you think Bill might have had something to do with that?

I got the impression it will be comments that are offensive that will be deleted, not comments he disagrees with. I don’t think he has a problem with people debating ideas. It’s when people get personal and nasty that I think he has every right to refuse to give that person a platform to publish their bile.

Yes, but some might consider being disagreeable and offensive as one of the same. ;-)

    Thanks for the comment eric.
