Hey, you’re way too much fun! Loved your little trick! On another note, this is the MOST colorful badge I’ve seen yet–a real attention getter!

GOTCHA Kuanyin. I could hear your little heart pitter pattering all the way over here ;-)

I’m so happy that you FOLLOWED me back here. By all means please DO it again (no pun intended).

Great to see that you joined the do follow movement.

Hey, I’m trying to send you the do follow blogroll because you need it on your site if you want to be on the list and the email that you sent me doesn’t work. I’ve tried BB and thebloke. The third try came back with a message “it contains prohibited virus or spam content” well that’s probably because it was the third time I was trying to send it to you. LOL Can you write back to me with an email addy that’s guaranteed to work? (I’ll try one more time so if you get it ignore this message)

Nice to hear from you Randa but I can’t understand why anyone would want to go back again. We shouldn’t let a few bad apples ruin it for everyone.

    Congrats on your recent nomination.

Welcome to dofollow club :) I have been using this plugin for almost 2 months now. But I don’t see the dofollow badge on you right panel except from your main home page.

    Hi,
I read in various places that Google has reduced the PR mainly because of blogs adding them selves to blogging networks like Do Follow Blogroll and BlogChicks blogroll.

May I know your valuable views on this please.
    Tks.

Hi Malathy. I can’t speak for the blogrolls that you mention, but I do know that any pages that have an exorbitant number of links can be considered to be a link farm by Google and will be penalized.

here is something I said about the same subject on another blog that was talking about the spam they were getting as a result of joining the NoFollow movement:

“hmmm, this seems to be an interesting subject going around the internet… I only learned about this whole DoFollow movement about a week ago.. strange since it doesn’t seem to be That new

i think that using your personal name and or online tag (like mine is Veedo) is a must these days… with blogs now becoming increasingly commercial and websites like ProBlogger encouraging the practice of comment spamming (not out right saying mind you… but that is one of the many tips they give you for SEO)

i’m pretty torn on the issue of inserting your website brand / name in the anchor text as well… as you can see, I add a general description of mine after a virtical line so that people don’t think that they are just going to a random personal blog, and that the blog has a pupose…
but i’m also against the blogs who want to make money off their sites using the same tactic to increase their Search Engine ranking… since they are doing it for the sole purpose of self-benifit and not for they benifit of the people who might potentially read the comment and click on the link”
