Regional Blogs give Insights into Local Communities

There’s been a trend in the blogosphere that is fascinating to read. More blogs are popping up that are focussing on little known communities within the world, that otherwise we would know very little about.

For example, “Yo-Yo” in Paradise is a blog written by a courageous young woman who has emigrated to Costa Rica. She shares with us the beauty of the local scenery, and the ups and downs of living on her own in a strange new land.

Until I read her blog I only thought of Costa Rica as the place where dinosaurs live in Jurassic Park. It’s a fascinating read and you should check her out.

  1. Good on you Bloke for profiling smaller blogs.

There’s a deep blogosphere out there that has some fasinating information to share.

  2. My gosh Bloke, I’m blushing!
I am so flattered (and honored) for You to have “featured” me.
I about fell out of my chair when I saw it. I laughed so hard.
    Thanks for your support.
Blogging has connected me to the outside world regardless if anyone reads it. I probably would have given up setting this site up without your help and encouragement.
    Thank You. Teri (Yo-Yo Macha)

  3. I enjoy reading your blog Teri and you keep up the great work.

  4. Hi Sameer. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and I haven’t forgotten about you either.
