…OUCH !
Believe it or not this picture isn’t all that far removed from reality. I’m very happy to report that I’m back home and still a member of the living. I’ll make a more thorough report after the OUCH factor has passed a little. My thanks to everyone who has expressed their best wishes. I wish also express my appreciation for the wonderful care that I received from the all health care professionals who’s sensitivity and care was overwhelming. But I especially want to give thanks to my loving wife and daughter who are taking very good care of me. I’m in good hands. Thanks again and hopefully I will back at the keyboard tomorrow.

“Hung out to dry”. How prophetic.
At times like this one has to keep a sense of humor and an eye on the prize. So I’m just trying to stay positive and not feel (too) sorry for myself. I spend most of my time in the la-z-boy watching movies and trying not to get too many sores on my butt (I can’t sit long in an upright position, hence this comment is short.)
A man’s worst nightmare is having someone messin’ with with his private parts. Well, if you only knew what I just went through.
Currently I’m sitting here with a hose pipe up my pee-pee and pissin’ blood. The Doc had to use a mini blow torch (a laser) to cut a larger hole so I can urinate into a bag that I carry around (the nurses call it a purse :). Ha Ha.
On Monday the Doc is expected to remove the tube so I’m really looking forward to that, although I expect it’s gonna hurt a little. OUCH! (Now you get the picture).

UPDATE:
I visited the Docs and I’m thankful to report that Blog Bloke is finally unplugged and the plumbing is working better than ever.

Things are slowly getting back to normal again but I have a lot of personal business to catch up on so I hope to be back to blogging in a day or so.
