New Media Marketing and Blog Podcasting

Here’s an excellent video showing how easy it is to put audio in your blog as a podcast, video as a vblog, a video podcast or a video blog. This tutorial will help you to bridge the gap between old and new media in simple, understandable terms.

It’s presented by a sound engineer like myself and includes tips on software and equipment for producing quality sound and video content. It will also discuss how to build trust with your audience and market products and services with podcast technology.

Although it was written with Wordpress in mind, you can still do the same with your Blogger blog or on any other blog platform. You might want to skip the advertising and self-promotion at the end of the video.

I’ve been preaching blog technology will usurp old media for years now. It’s gratifying to see more people embracing the technology but my vision for blogging is far bigger than just a means for making money. Even more importantly it is an empowering technology for the benefit of all of society. It’s direct democracy in action.
