Net Neutrality, Serious Business for Bloggers

By Blog Bloke June 24th, 2006 Buzz thisBuzz it Share this on Facebook

I’ve been reading a lot about Net Neutrality lately, and I will be the first to admit that it is a complex topic and I don’t pretend to have all the answers.

But Net Neutrality is a serious subject that will affect all bloggers, and if it means keeping control from the reach of big corporations then I’m all for it.

Here is one of the better explanations that I’ve come across about the topic. Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the Web tells us it is not about the cost of the service. It is really about the control of information.

Let’s see whether the United States is capable as acting according to its important values, or whether it is, as so many people are saying, run by the misguided short-term interested of large corporations.

Rocketboom also has a good video.
