Merry Christmas Blokesters!

Blog Bloke wishes you and your loved ones a joyous festive season!

Christmas is the time of year when Santa visits with presents for good little boys and girls. But it is also more traditionally the time of year that we celebrate the miracle birth of Jesus Christ.

Maybe not all of us believe in Christmas but I would be willing to bet most of us believe in the miraculous power of love.

I believe in miracles and I believe in you. My Christmas wish is we will all be more kinder to one another.

Let the spirit of love shine within you. Just because someone is different doesn’t make them any less valuable in the eyes of God or the human race.

During this festive season reach out and be a friend to the friendless, the lonely and the disenfranchised. Love the unlovable and give to others without expecting anything in return.

That goes for blogging too. Understand that many of our readers come from different cultures, religions and background. Many struggle against regimes for the right to freedom of speech that we in the west take for granted.

But what binds us together is we are brothers and sisters in blogging and we all want to be heard. (Which explains why I crusade against elitist bloggers who want to hoard it all for themselves).

There is so much more to blogging than just traffic, pagerank, ego and making money. So be the kind of blogger who blogs with no strings attached. Be charitable with your links and comment on those lesser known blogs who would otherwise be ignored.

Be a miracle for someone this Christmas and I promise you will reap rewards in the most unexpected of places.

Thank you for honouring me with your loyal readership and a very Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks sweety and the same to you. I hope your Christmas was a pleasant one. Our daughter is very happy with her presents, especially the new WII game console and MP3 player. I also promised her a new laptop in the New year.

Thanks Gem and the same to you and your family. Does forgiveness include those who’ve sinned against me? :-)
