Memories of Hope!

I don’t know about you but I’m feeling more than the loss of a great entertainer. At the risk of showing my age I’m also feeling a little nostalgic for days gone by.

Bob’s passing is a reminder to us all that time marches on and an era has passed us by. It was a time of innocence when entertainers didn’t need sex or four letter words to grab our attention. It is a reminder of my youth, mom and apple pie. It was a time of emerging technologies, television and the age of multimedia (sad to say there were no personal computers then). And it was a time when Ed Sullivan ruled the airways and kissed a mouse good night Sunday evenings. Huh?

Ok, I think I’m starting to lose it so enough nostalgia. I salute you Bob as you make your way on down the road to Morocco and be sure to send our love to Bing. Thank you for all of those wonderful memories and we will surely miss you!
