    1. Wow, the word “adsense” generated spam for you, if nothing else. :-)

When I first started, I thought maybe putting Adsense in my blog was a good idea. Then I could make a little income from it. In very short order I recognized that making money was not my motivation for writing a blog. And in a certain sense, I didn’t want to prostitute my blog by doing that. Therefore, all things Adsense have been removed, never to return. It’s completely a personal preference, and I’m not saying anything about those who choose to do so. I just decided it didn’t fit for me.

    2. Perhaps I should have named it “barenaked lady bloggers making money online” :)

A lot of bloggers think that I’m anti-making money from blogging. But that’s not true at all. I’m all-for making money so long as it is done ethically.

When I see so-called probloggers exaggerating income to get traffic and sell ads, ebooks, courses, it really gets my dander up. The content they’re selling has been ripped off from someone else either directly or indirectly and repackaged, and what they don’t tell you in the fine print is they have sources of income other than their blog(s). What they also don’t do is verify their income via impartial third-parties, so we have no way of knowing if their claims to riches are in fact true.

Any lame-brain can generate a high ranking blog by promising fame and fortune to readers. The smell of money attracts traffic like flies on poop. But what really concerns me is the jokers who are only in it for the money get elevated to star status and positions of influence in the blogosphere, and end up dictating policy to the rest of us.

That is really warped, and in my view pure bloggers such as yourself who are blogging for the joy of it should be influencing politics in the blogosphere … not the parasites.

    3. I have an absence account I used on blogger. Haven’t used it on my self hosted blog yet. I don’t know if I will.

    4. Another great link mate.

I prefer generating revenue, when required, through custom advertising; getting in touch with companies in the same niche as the blog and negotiating terms from there. As you’re providing controlled, relevant traffic you can usually command a much higher price on average CPM.

    9. To earn money blogging it’s essential to write unique content for that site. That’s the identity of site.If not users thinks this is duplicate one and they never continue to visit sites. Also there is lot of ways to repeat visitors to a site.site navigation should easy and easy to read is important.

    10. Adsense is not bad at all. I would have to say its 1 of the top 5 but it really depends on your niche.

    11. I really liked your blog!

    12. I’d have to say that adsense is one of the easiest ways to make an income online. It’s so simple just to toss it up onto any site.

      anyways, great article mate. :D

    13. All the proof I needed was the fact that my friend got me into this and He does make a lot of money from it, He puts a lot of work into it though. You need more than one source of income online to make enough money to say that it works for you. You need several sites and a couple of different affiliate programs to make as much as they say. It’s still worth the effort.

      Thank you!

    14. As simple as you said, just link the advertising in your blog and make the traffic high! Great job
