Lawyer Blogger Quits Job, goes Bollywood

By Blog Bloke January 3rd, 2006 | 10 Comments

CROSS-DRESSING JUDGES. Combatant lawyers facing off in court ending up between the sheets at night.

Well maybe not quite that bad, but an assistant US attorney in Newark is out of work today for writing a spicy anonymous blog about the shennagins of judges and lawyers.

David Lat, who blogged “Underneath Their Robes” sent an e-mail Friday to fellow staffers telling them that it was his last day. Lat’s blog claimed to be written by a young, female lawyer going by the pen name of Article Three Groupie, or A3G.

Is this cause for concern for other lawyer bloggers out there? I think I smell a law suit.

Or given that he ‘voluntarily’ quit, perhaps that severance package he probably received will be more than sufficient. But it sure can’t help the resume much. Heh.

Who knows. Maybe he will end up in Bollywood writing the next LA Law spinoff?

It’s gotta be more fun than doing legal briefs (pun intended).

Wow, that hurts. As a lawyer, I’m pretty used to that attitude. But hopefully both my blogs have actually contributed positively to the blogosphere. Come on, give us a break. :)
