Israelis and Lebanese Blog on as the War Rages

Fascinating. While the bombs are dropping, blogs are all that is keeping the lines of communication open between the Israelis and Lebanese:

The now nearly two-week-old conflict between Israel and Lebanon has already been tagged the “most blogged war yet. This is the first conflict where the citizens of enemy countries are blogging in real time to each other, an Israeli blogger writes.

“Looking to the Good side of the WAR!!!” “Israel - finish Hizbollah!” “Jail ALL muslims in the USA!” “All Jews Must Die Now!”

Looking at these inflammatory comments I thought I would use my mediation/negotiation skills to throw a different spin on it. So how’s about this:

“Looking at the Insane side of the WAR!!!

“Israel - make peace with Hizbollah!”

“Muslims have the same rights as any other citizen in the USA!”

“Jews have as much right to exist as anyone else”.

Let’s hope the blog conversations will be a little less virulent over the ensuing days and put an end to this nutbar war.
