Assassination in Iraq
Iraqi Terrorists assassinated Izzedine Salim, president of the ‘U.S. - appointed’ Iraqi Governing Council, in an attempt to disrupt the ’symbolic’ hand over of ’sovereignty’ to Iraqis on June 30th. Sources claim the suicide bombing was the handiwork of al Qaeda whacko Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
Meanwhile, a U.S. convoy found an artillery shell believed to have sarin - a deadly nerve gas used in chemical weapons.
