INTEL to offer Collaborative Tools for the Office

By Blog Bloke November 9th, 2006 | 2 Comments Buzz thisBuzz it Share this on Facebook

Intel is partnering with several software providers to provide the ultimate Wikipedia environment for the workplace that will be called SuiteTwo.

The partner companies include NewsGator (providing the RSS technology), Six Apart Ltd. (makers of movabletype, typepad, vox and livejournal blogging software), Socialtext (wikis technology for collaboration), and SpikeSource (developer of open-source applications).

Instead of companies having to adopt the programs piecemeal, Intel will be offering the suite through its network of personal computer makers and other distributors in hopes it will become the standard set of collaborative tools for office workers.

Not if Google has anything to say about it. Source.
