I’m back … I Think

This morning my computer suffered a catastrophic failure. It’s suffering from heat problems, and when it crashed it corrupted the registry. After several frustrating hours I’ve been able to repair Windows to the point that at least it’s working again.

But in the mean time I was extremely disappointed to discover a vitriolic comment left behind which was to be expected I suppose. But what I didn’t expect was it would come from someone who I had considered to be a friend. You just never know in the blogosphere do you. It was embarrassing because for several hours I was unable to do anything about it. I couldn’t respond when I was offline, nor could I hide the comments like is supposed to be able to when I came back online. It’s not something that I like to do but under the circumstances I felt I had no choice but to remove it.

I’m still in the process of restoring Windows service packs, but whether or not the system will remain stable enough to continue normal is anybody’s guess. Clearly I need a new a computer but the finances just aren’t there right now.

SIGH!
