I’m Almost There

I’ve added a few more features to the blog and I’m very pleased with the results. I’ve rediscovered the powerful span tag which helped me to position a search box and menu on the right side of my top banner.

I’ve added a second sidebar on the far right for things like translation links and advertising so I can clean up the main sidebar for blog related items. Which also means that I had to extend the banner (and the entire blog) to fit the wider dimensions. This gives the added benefit of the blog looking wider on the larger screen resolutions for those who are using large monitors.

I’ve added another option to the “Stay in Touch” menu item in the sidebar so you can now subscribe to the Comments RSS feed. You might also notice other minor changes like colorized comments boxes so that your comments will stand out more.

One thing that is still on my wish list is inline comments, so if anybody knows how to install it I’m all ears.
