How To Blog with Blogger
Blogging with Blogger Series:
According to Blogger Buzz Mann Publishing has released a new Blogger book:
“With this book, you will learn how to use Blogger’s Post Editor and Dashboard to create sophisticated postings that include images and hyperlinks, and how to change the look and feel of your blog using templates. Other topics include making money using Google’s AdSense and Amazon.com’s Associates program, using photo blogging services, adding a site counter so that you can track your readership, using Blogger Mobile for mobile blogging, and how to archive your blog. For those of you who have your own Web hosting, you will learn how to publish your blog to your own server.”
Sounds like basic stuff that you can easily find online. Don’t get me wrong ’cause I’m a big fan of books being the proud owner of literally thousands of them (I always said that I’m stupid without my books, but what a pain in the back they can be when I have to move).
Nonetheless I rarely purchase books these days because I can usually find what I need online. I’ve replaced my home library with broadband internet and Google’s taskbar.
An added benefit is I can find the freshest content within seconds of being published, as compared to a book which is already out of date the moment it hits the shelves (fiction excepted of course).
After all, where else do you think the authors got their information in the first place? My advice is to save your money and continue reading Blog Bloke. Let me do the heavy lifting ;-).
