Hitler freaks over Google Reader shutting down
“Don’t worry. He can export his feeds as an XML.”
LOL
Yesterday Google announced it is closing down it’s popular online newsreader Google Reader. To most of us this news was a shocker including Herr Hitler himself. I rely on Google Reader as one way of keeping the amount of emails I get down to a minimum of about 2 million a day! An exaggeration but the amount I get is staggering. I can keep feeds nicely categorized in Reader too.
I have tried the firefox add in, feedly, but it does not recognize a lot of the feeds - yours included (could be an issue with it being a feedburner feed?
It seems our choices are being taken away from us. Both Google and Facebook (with its upcoming new feature) are trying to decide what they think we want to read - or is that what THEY want us to read?

Hi Sue:
Yes, you might still be subscribed to the old feedburner feed. Try the raw feed http://www.blogbloke.com/feed .
Good point. THEY are trying to control what we read. And yes, Google is trying to move us over to it’s Google Plus Network.
It’s not going to work.
Long time no hear and thanks for dropping by.

I was not trying to use the feed that I had transferred over to feedly but trying to subscribe again in Firefox. Using - Bookmarks/Subscribe to this page.
Although I rarely comment these days, your blog is one of the few exceptions I make and I subscribe to yours via email. When I have the time I do read these and catch up with your posts
