Does Google think SEO is Spam?

When I read the title for this video I thought how ridiculous.

Apparently I’m not the only one who thinks so:

“Of course Google doesn’t think SEO is spam, they sell and recommend SEO services themselves. Plus as a business owner turned on to SEO they will naturally start with PPC and other forms of online marketing to boost revenue. Google most certainly likes this.”

White vs. Black Hat SEOSome people are asking for a list of the good vs. bad SEO’s. That’s about as easy as asking for a copy of the original Ten Commandments. We all know in our hearts right from wrong. What is cheating and what is not.

Do we not. (That’s a rhetorical question).

And just when you think you got it all figured out .. Google changes the rules again.

If you’re not already confused then read how Google is blurring the lines .. even more.

Now you know why there are no lists (and why I don’t pretend to know-it-all and give SEO advice).

My integrity is more important. Best of luck.

  1. I have tried to read up on all the different ways and means to creating “good” SEO and never mind Google changing rules..the rules themselves are very complicated at least to the average person such as myself.

At the end of the day and I cross my fingers, toes and eyes that I am doing anything right, I will just write as I do, keep it as interesting and as “legible” as I can and hope that I am doing it right.

I have noticed one thing and that is with Google personalizing everything including searches, the auto suggest is not really of use to me anymore or at least not in the same way…not sure if that has anything to do with SEO, but I remember reading once that if you did a search and saw what the suggestions were, that meant people were looking for these terms. When writing a post and keeping those suggestion in mind, then it would help with what you were doing.

Not sure if I even said that right, but think I did.

See what I mean? it is so dang complicated..almost need a university course just to try and figure it all out

@Diane ( Blogneta), I turned off “auto-suggest” when it first came out. Objectivity in search results has long gone out the window thanks to the G+ button. Nice one Google.
