Google Ping, Google Blog Search, and Google News

So what does Google News and Google Blog Search have in common? A common interface, that’s what.

You can now search the blogs on the Google News site (look for it near the top right-hand corner beside the “Advanced news search” button).

More blurring of the lines between mainstream media and the blogosphere is a trend that will only continue. At least that’s how Google seems to see it, and for my money I agree.

Now that Google has also introduced a Google Ping service for blogs it should be interesting to see how all this unfolds.
