Google is having problems again?

By Blog Bloke July 24th, 2006 Buzz thisBuzz it Share this on Facebook

It looks like mighty Google is having another spaz attack today so posting will be sparse. Checking the “blogger status” page is useless since it’s only helpful for planned outages. I don’t know if you noticed, but Google.com was even down late last night so it might be serious. Will keep trying though.

Update - this in from Blogger Status:

We’ve been having some database issues this morning, causing Blogger.com to be inaccessible for some users. We’re investigating the cause of the trouble, so thanks for bearing with us as we work on getting everything running normally again.

Update: For the majority of users things should be working properly again now, though there may still be a few smaller, lingering issues. We plan on having these resolved by the end of the day.

Well that explains it. Nice to see that Blogger Status is a little more timely now. I guess they’ve been monitoring the Bloke’s posts. But I must be one of the minority that are still having some “lingering issues” so hang in there.
