Further to my rant yesterday about the evils of MySpace, I thought this post by a MySpace user sums it up very well:
I don’t know but I’m thinking about giving up MySpace. I think I’m over it. Main reason I joined was because it was free to contact people, unlike other sites. By people, I mean girls. However, I haven’t had much luck finding any girls on this site that would have liked to start something with me. So what is one to do? I only have like 5 friends on this thing. Four from real life and one from the internet. I could have more but I deny all those fake people. Is it time to say goodbye to MySpace? If anything, I’ll keep my account for blogging and that’s it.

I think myspace is close to becoming a thing of the past, it was the thing to do for awhile but its clearly losing its appeal. One thing that is annoying about it is how people on it are beginning to act like high schoolers again, you know you have your clicks of friends in your top, and then there is everyone else and you get sick of reading everyones drama each time you log on through bulletions and status messages.
