Gasoline Prices go through the Roof (AGAIN)

By Blog Bloke May 19th, 2004 | 2 Comments Buzz thisBuzz it Share this on Facebook

Gas PricesIf only the stock market could work so well. Ever notice how every summer the price of gas mysteriously goes up at a time when we use our cars the most?

Just a coincidence? Well, after seeing this phenomena firsthand most of my adult life, I really doubt it. (Remember the big hike blamed on Saddam and Desert Storm? Question: Did the prices go back down after the war?)

Our politicians don’t seem to care, and if only the oil company lobbyists would get out of their pockets. Oh, sometimes they grandstand a little and promise an investigation, which of course takes most of the summer to complete.

After several months gone by when everybody has forgotten or given up hope of any relief, we might find a BS story buried somewhere near the last page of our newspaper.

And that will be the end of it until next summer when the cycle starts all over again. Are you as fed up as I am? So what can be done about it? Well don’t look to Bush for any help.

    1. Lol, it’s now 2008, and I wish our gas prices are as LOW as the one in the pic. It’s now ARM, LEG, and FIRST BORN. Perhaps we should consider other ways to get around that does not require gasoline, such as an electric motor bike.
