How Facebook and Twitter are Fighting Social Spam

Email spam is out and Social Media Spam is on the rise.
Watch this video as the WallStreet Journal shows us how Social Networking Spam is on the increase (surprise). But apparently we don’t need to worry because Twitter and Facebook are hot on the job. In fact Zuckerberg claims one in three of his employees are working on the problem, if we can believe that.
The video does give good examples how spammers follow us as a “friend” to spoof us to click on their links and download malware that will enable them to hack into our social media accounts.
So be social … but do be careful.
