Facebook’s Privacy Settings and What you Need to Know

Complacency with our privacy can be dangerous and if we’re not careful with Social Media one day we could wake up and find those freedoms and rights that we took for granted are no longer there.

Facebook announced it is making major changes to privacy settings defaulting to share all of your personal information with “everyone” on the internet. So just who is “everyone” and is that wise? To find out more watch this video.

  2. LOL I just posted in another post here about this… I thought I remembered this happening but I was talked out of it… grr.

    I don’t know why any website would think people would be ok or want their settings to default to completely open. Then again, it IS a huge marketing website so…

  3. Don’t forget that the government can also look on social media sites to find people that are trying to avoid audits. If you are not heads up and are trying to hide in plain site from paying taxes, then keep your lawyer on speed dial!

  4. Facebook announced it is making prima changes to concealment settings defaulting to get all of your individualized content with “everyone” on the internet. So who is “everyone” and is that wise? I don’t see why any website would consider grouping would be ok or want their settings to default to completely opened. Then again, it is a marketing website.

  5. Since Facebook is widely used, you must be aware of Facebook phishing and all and also you must follow all the privacy policy. No one among us read all the privacy policy of the program which is really bad habit.
