Digg crawls out of the Hole

By turning off spammers Digg wins kudos… sort of

The “wisdom of crowds” becomes “the madness of the mob“.

And one hand clapping in the blogosphere can be a very lonely thing. You can quote me on that.

    2. Hi Jude.

I was reminded of an episode of the Simpsons where Bart bypasses enlightenment and makes a mockery of the classic Zen koan by proving to his sister that the sound of one hand clapping is in fact possible. Of course you can’t really hear a single hand clapping, and I was making a joke of all those spammers who resort to unscrupulous methods of raising the PR of their sites at the expense of legitimate bloggers… because not having traffic at one’s blog “can be a very lonely thing“.

Obviously it got lost in the translation. :) Thanks for dropping by and asking me clarify that. My sense of humor can be bizarre at times (or most of the time).
