Comment Avatars for your Blog

January 25th, 2007 by Blog Bloke | 4 Comments

This is so cool. MyAvatars is a plugin that shows MyBlogLog’s avatars in your comments instead of Gravatar’s, even if you’re not subscribed to MyBlogLog.com. Although it is made for Wordpress, Blogger users need not despair because Merlinox has kindly made a Blogger script as well.

MyBlogLog is a great way to build community on your blog and now has a smiling face to go along with those comments. That’s a winning combination in my book.

  1. Thanks for letting me know how this could be achieved, Blog Bloke :)

I finally got around to working this into my template now, though my avatar doesn’t seem to be showing up yet. Hopefully this will show up soon enough though!

  2. Does anybody know where I can get the script/code to add smilies to my Blogger account?
    Thanks.
BTW, I don’t see the smilies here. Where are they? Gone?
