Canada gets in on the Piracy act … eh!

Music Biz drills into Dentists for Royalties

Dentists, Chiropractors and Opticians are being targeted by The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada. In true Canadian form they aren’t as quick to the draw as their American cousins and haven’t sued anybody (yet). But it nonetheless demonstrates a nasty trend in the music biz and there seems to be no letting up. It is a different approach than the RIAA which prefers targeting the public. I don’t know about you but if I had a choice between the lesser of two evils, I kind of like the Great White North’s approach. So what do you think - eh?
