Do you (still) Digg It?

By Blog Bloke April 26th, 2006 | 1 Comment Buzz thisBuzz it Share this on Facebook

I have stayed out of the Digg fracas until now, and after reading most of the comments and I will say this. Digg is certainly not what it used to be.

All too often I have found good posts ignored and the dumbest ones with a gazillion votes on the front page. Something is amiss and had to be corrected, because as it now stands it’s almost not worth my while to read any more.

So who’s at fault? The spammers of course. Just yesterday I found a post showing spammers how to get around the new filters that Digg has put into place.

Perhaps the problem is just a reflection of the type of crowd that Digg attracts? Digg is suffering growing pains and I hope they can get on top of these juvenile spammers soon or I fear they will lose readers (myself included).
