Calling all Blokesters

For a long time now I’ve been thinking about how I can expand my blog(s) so that we can all benefit from one another. The Washington Post blogroll idea rekindled that thought and reminded me that there are so many ways we can all help each other. The other reason is I’m getting more and more requests for help on specific blogs, and I’m getting stretched so thin that I have little time to do what I really enjoy most - and that is posting.

I suppose one thing we could do would be to create a forum specifically dedicated to the art of blogging. Yes, there are blog forums out there, and that is why I’ve hesitated because I’m looking for a hook that will stand out from the rest of the crowd. Most of them seem to be geared towards specific blog platforms so I’m thinking of something more wide open and not for just resolving tech problems either.

Another idea would be to ask for writers who would like to contribute posts to InstaBLOKE about the art of blogging. We could provide pics and links to contributors’ respective blogs so that everyone benefits.

So I’m throwing it out to y’all, and if you are a knowledgeable blogmeister or interested in helping with tech stuff then by all means let me know. Or even if you would just like to see something like this happen or have another idea to throw around… I’m all ears.
