Calling All Blokesters! Do You Still Love Me
The other day Darren Rowse paid me a visit with a guest post, and given our past issues I’m sure it was a real shocker to my readers. It must have been because comments are way down lately and I’m wondering where everybody went.
Are you away on holidays or are you disgusted with me and still recovering? Please let me know what you’re thinking because my clairvoyance isn’t working as well as it should.
Seriously, I really want to know so please call home and leave a message after the beep.

I’m a new reader so I’m not sure if mine is the opinion you’re looking for, but here goes. I started reading Problogger before I started reading Instabloke and happened to mozy over when the guest post was published.
I’ve now been reading both blogs regularly because after trolling some of your archives I think a lot of you and Darren’s advice complement one another. You both seem to be coming at blogging from different, yet informed perspectives and I think both approaches are valid.
Maybe your current readers are mourning some perceived loss of your snark, but I think a little diplomacy is a good thing and ought to be rewarded. It’s unfortunate that in this case it doesn’t seem to have been.

Did you say snark?
Thanks Kiley for your kind comments and welcome to the community, wherever that may be right now.

Just Lurking.
Since you did nor respond to the last round of emails I sent, I have just been riding along.
Hope everything is getting better, you know if anyone understands the illness thing, it’s me. Don’t let it keep you down.
Remember what Michael Irvin said…

I was my first time on Blog Bloke yesterday.
If Blokesters seem to have left you, Atleast one ProBlogger loves you !

Hi CyberCoder. Long time no hear.
I don’t recall getting any emails. Can you resend them again?

Hey Jaffer. Thanks so much for the warm welcome. Especially coming from a Pro Blogger.

Bloke, I’d love to comment but it’s difficult. Vandals, uh, vandalized a router station looking for copper wiring to steal and then a construction company cut through more cabling in my neighborhood… so no reliable ISP.
I’m actually commenting via iPhone, but it’s a pain to do so. Your blog does look great on it though.
Not commenting, but still reading.

Hey Seiche… I’m so sorry to hear that. I remember the story myself. It was first reported in the blogosphere before CNN picked it up. I heard it myself while I was embedded undercover deep in Iraq on the special forces frequency. Thank God for those iPhones eh?

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think this is your first comment. I’m writing it down on my calendar as I speak. Welcome bro and I’m looking forward to the next one.

I’m still here! I’m just behind (way behind) in my reading.

Another blast from the past. I think of you often Doug. I notice that your blog is really taking off and I’m very happy for you. Keep up the great work bro and thanks for dropping by to say hello.

Bloke, digging out old emails is too much work for an old man like me, I just sent emails checking on you when you kept disappearing for days.
Glad to see you back.

Thanks CyberCoder. If you’re an old man what does that make me?
I’m not well yet but keeping the faith that everything will work out for the best.
In the mean time thank God for blogging. It keeps me off the couch watching reruns and feeling sorry for myself.
