Blogger Hack: One-click Comment Notification

By July 11th, 2006 9 Comments   Share

Here’s a nifty blogger hack that enables you to send a quick thank you or a reminder to your readers that you have replied to their comments. You must be logged in to see the button and the message will contain your name, your post’s title and its permanent link so that the c can easily come back and read your response. Sweet.

It will only work for those who have shared their email address in their Blogger profile. If the commentor has chosen not to share their email an error will be shown and no email will be sent.

Anything that will keep your readers coming back and makes your site ’sticky’ is a good thing and this hack is will do just that.

UPDATE: As with any hack or script please use with caution. Sometimes unusual things can happen as was my case and I had to remove it.
