Blogger Beta is Beta no more?

December 21st, 2006 by Blog Bloke | 2 Comments

As you probably know, Blogger has announced that Beta is now ancient history and gone mainstream. Which really means that they think they now have it in a stable version, despite the fact that PCMag says there are still bugs being reported integrating older blogs to the new version.

But what I really find interesting is they claim:

We’re done with “beta,” but we’re far from done with the new Blogger.

Is that just a tease?

So have you switched yet? Not me. They’re gonna have to carry me over kicking and screaming. I’ll let you guys beta test the non-beta version.

  1. Hello & Seasons Greetings from down under in New Zealand. Google do have a lot more in store for the new Blogger. A little bird told me that there may come a time, when they pull the plug on the old blogger rather than keep 2 “bloggers” going. If old bloggers haven’t changed over…….???

Hope you have a good one !!!

  2. Hopefully Kevin they will have the good sense to warn everybody first if they do that. It would also make sense to automagically switch over the stragglers and not leave anyone in limbo. But then again that might make too much sense. ;-)

Anyhow, they haven’t yet invited me so the issue is moot as far as the Bloke is concerned. Thanks for dropping by and Merry Christmas!
