The more I see, the more I wonder why the heck we ever agreed to let China host the Olympic. China is slowing invading Costa Rica since we have a trade deal with them. I saw some dancers on t.v. last night - ChinoLatino. Come ON!! I remember when I went to Hawaii, at first I thought all those “foreign” looking people were Hawaiian. Nope, Japanese. TONS of them. Guess that’s to be expect here in Costa Rica. I am already seeing Coca-Cola cans written in Chinese. It’s just a matter of time before they own our banks and companies here. I think Costa Rica sold out their country with the trade agreement with China.
In North America everything we buy from our local Walmart is made in China. I’ve been saying for years American Industry is selling out to China to exploit cheap labor for bigger profits. Instead of bankrupting them like we did to the Russians, we are helping the Chinese to build bigger and badder bombs to lob on our heads in the future. A very shortsighted strategy indeed and one that I think we will regret.

I remember when Walmart started up and their main advertising slogan was “American Made”. Boy, that didn’t last long. It’s a shame we have sold out to China (in Costa Rica and the U.S.).
Yep, products are made cheaper but the problems from those products made in China hasn’t deterred a soul from buying them.
Personally, I try to boycott products made in China but it’s almost impossible now since our market is flooded with them.
