AOL Launches Active Security Monitor

AOL has launched a free software product for Windows users that will warn us if our PCs are allegedly not properly protected.

I’m suspicious of any product that is designed to tell me my security suite is not up to snuff. Perhaps it will even try to convince me to purchase a product that AOL is affiliated with?

Just a thought. Caveat Emptor (there I go being cynical again).
