Thanks Jaffer. I can't answer that in a simple comment so I'm preparing a post for tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Nothing bugs me more than the splogs that are scraping my content for their own sites. So far, they are just putting up snippets of my posts, usually with a link back to my site. I dread the occasion when I find someone taking my full post and putting it up on their site as if it's their own. I know that is happening to other blogs that I visit. The frustration is that it takes time to fight this garbage, and since I don't have a staff of lawyers and this is not my full time job it is just a hassle I don't want to deal with.

I think people do have trouble understanding "Original content".
For example if there exist several articles on how to go about installing a Widget, and then I go about writing another article on the same subject but not adding much to the existing articles out there - does that mean that my article is not very original ?

Jaffer's last blog post..Oh I've got the blues ?
